flights will be booked in the next available class.
All flights and transport taken with the prize are carbon-offset
with Climate Care. Climate Care is a specialist organisation dedicated
to funding and encouraging carbon-reducing projects around the world to help
offset the carbon “spending” of others. The projects are far-reaching but
include use of renewable energy (instead of fossil fuels), energy efficiency
(the amount of fuel needed in the first place), and reforestation (to help absorb
the CO2 emissions).
